Where to Celebrate Dr. Seuss Day in Westchester
Dr Seuss Day at Jefferson Valley Mall: Get ready to mark your calendar for an exciting children’s event! Bring your kiddos to the Jefferson Valley Mall on Saturday, March 2nd from 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM and celebrate Dr. Seuss’s Birthday! This fun-filled day will include story time from popular Dr. Seuss books, themed crafts stations, giveaways, and much more! There will also be a Cat in the Hat costume character taking pictures with kids throughout the event. Saturday, March 2nd from 10am-2pm
Celebrate Dr. Seuss’ Birthday at the Yonkers Public Library: Celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday by reading some of his most popular books and enjoying fun crafts. March 1st, all day.
Celebrating Dr. Seuss at Lewisboro Library: Come celebrate Dr. Seuss’ birthday with stories, snacks and a craft. Saturday, March 2nd at 1:00 am
Read Across America: Favorite Book & Teddy Bear Day at Mid-Hudson Children’s Museum: To celebrate Dr. Seuss’s Birthday and National Read Across America Day, they encourage every child who comes to the museum to bring a special book and stuffed animal. At special times throughout the day, every parent and child in the museum will stop playing, and sit down to read their book together. We’ll also have special story times and teddy bear sing-alongs throughout the day! Cost: This program is free with the cost of admission. Saturday, March 2nd from 2pm-3pm
