Tipsy Taco Bar in Mount Kisco is the Ultimate Spot for Delicious Mexican Fare | Northern Westchester Moms

I get so excited when a new restaurant comes to town. While I love venturing to other towns to try out new eateries, there’s nothing like finding a place in your hometown for delicious food. And when you add kids to the mix, it’s always good to have a place that can accommodate their short attention spans, and picky palates.

Enter Tipsy Taco Bar, a new casual restaurant in Mount Kisco where you can find authentic Mexican food that’s made from scratch This includes the use of fresh, wholesome, and locally-sourced ingredients, plus gluten-free and vegetarian options.

A few weeks ago I had the chance to try out some of their diverse menu with The New York Mom as we were in sleth planning mode for our upcoming media dinner with Tipsy Taco Bar. We started by trying their classic guacamole and Mexican Street corn that was bursting with flavor.

Featuring an extensive drink menu with handcrafted cocktails, we picked the blood orange margarita (Tequila ,fresh lime , organic blood orange juice) and the Tanteo Jalapeno Margarita (spicy tequila fresh lime juice light agave nectar) that was the perfect combo with our starters. They also have an extensive wine/beer menu featuring some great wines from California and draft beers.

As we waited for our next course, we soaked in the vibe which was super laid-back and chill, thanks to their large wall art (super fun for some Insta moments) and open/airy space.

We then tried a bunch of their tacos, including the pork belly, roasted chicken tinga, braised short ribs, and Michoacan style pork carnitas, which were all incredibly savory and fun for sharing!

We were also impressed by their bowls where we tried the roasted brussel sprouts chipotle with onions queso cotija. I also loved that they had tons of vegetarian options like the quinoa black bean burrito bowl, Fajitas shrimp, black bean soup and more.

And of course, we had to try their desserts and loved the Classic Churros with warm with salted caramel and Khalua Tres Leches with berries and whipped cream.
