We all love a great local day trip, at least I know my family does! We love to explore and find new places to make memories!
Hiking Check out Westchester Land Trust and Westchester County Parks for hiking or picnic ideas! Most of our county parks are still free this time of year!
FDR home, museum and library in Hyde Park! Kids are free and even better they can be a junior ranger by the end of the trip!
Trevor Zoo in Millbrook New York you need reservations before you go! It is a small zoo with a lot of great animals.
Packing a picnic and grabbing a kite from your local toy stores, G.Willikers in Katonah or All Together Now in Mount Kisco
Story Walk at Bedford Audubon its a great way to spend a some time outside, walk and read a great story!

Things to do at home
Start seeds at home! Kids love to watch things grow! Go to your local nursery and let them pick out seeds! A little soil, seeds and water and woohoo you have something beautiful growing! Michael’s Garden Gate Nursery in Mount Kisco has everything you need locally!
Dye your Easter Eggs always a fun tradition around our house! We have used natural elements to dye eggs! It is a lot of fun for the kids to help make them!
