Our Meet a Mom is with local real estate agent with William Raveis in Somers and one of the founders of Moms Who Network! And if she isn’t busy enough she is girl mom of 2 Melissa Naclerio! She is born and raised here in Northern Westchester and shares her love for the area with us and being a girl mom!
Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in town?
I was raised in Mahopac, moved around to surrounding towns a few times as an adult and
ultimately came back to Mahopac to raise our family.
Child(ren) and Age(s)?
We have two little girls. Eliana is 6 and full of sass, creativity, a master negotiator, and always
up for an adventure. Emilie is 4 and hilarious, sweet and could disarm you with her famous
squeeze hugs.
One thing people would be surprised to know about you…
When I was young I used to work at a horse stable mucking stalls, turning horses out and
getting filthy, and aside from being a mom it’s my favorite job I’ve ever had!
Anyone special you would like to thank for helping you through parenthood?
Of course my own mom who has always been the mom you could call anytime day or night and will still make pastina for
me if I’m sick. My husband who is my partner in crime, best friend and favorite person. I worry
about everything and he’s a “it’ll all work out” kinda guy so we’re a good team. My mom friends
who are the best support system, and can provide faster and more informative answers in a
group text then a Google search can for any issue imaginable! Moms are magic.
Favorite things to do with your kids?
Summers are my favorite with them-I love waking up and just deciding what little adventure we’ll
have for the day, whether it be a trip to the zoo, a hike, a playground, a beach day, etc, nothing
beats the lazy days, sunshine and dirty ice cream faces. The simple things are also some of my
favorites- cooking, baking, crafting (as long as there’s no glitter!)
How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
Volunteering with groups that I’m passionate about and local networking events have been
instrumental in meeting clients and I’m so grateful!
Tell us about the mom entrepreneur network (Moms Who Network) and what inspired you to
start it? How does someone join?
This was the vision of one of my partners, and together we are expanding that vision. The goal was to have a less structured networking group where
entrepreneurial women could collaborate and support each other’s businesses (and each other)
in the same way our mom friends have supported us in motherhood. You can join by

We are always so excited to have a date night it doesn’t matter where we go, but some of our
faves have been: 901 Wood Burning Kitchen, The Cookery, and Churrasqueira Ribatejo

Favorite place to go out with friends
Ruebens, Kobu, Barnwood Grill
Favorite place to go to have fun as a family
Our favorite place is the beach-everyone is equally happy there! The kids also always love
bowling, but I secretly think they just say that to play video games and eat gum balls.
