Our Meet a Mom feature is showcasing Kisha Riviezzo local Real Estate Agent at William Raveis in Somers and one of the co founders of Moms Who Network! She is a mom of 2 and shares with us about her community and her favorites in the area!
Northern Westchester Mom: Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in town?
Kisha Riviezzo: I was born in the Bronx. My parents moved my family to Yonkers and then to
Putnam County at the end of 1991. And as much as I protested and swore, I’d move down
county …. HERE I AM! MARRIED WITH CHILDREN!
Northern Westchester Mom: Child(ren) and Age(s)? I’m a Mama to two amazing children.
Kisha Riviezzo: My son, Frankie will be 16 years old in April. He is a soccer fanatic! He
plays varsity and club soccer all season. We’re in the middle of deciding where he will apply for
college.
My daughter, Joanna is 11 years old. She loves to dance and is enrolled at Epic Dance Center,
in Mahopac. She has been competing in lyrical and; hip hop for over 5 years now.
Northern Westchester Mom: One thing people would be surprised to know about you…
Kisha Riviezzo: Prior to my career in real estate, I worked in the Fashion Industry. My
last position was a Color Analyst for a private label intimate apparel company. That experience
in design, sales, &; marketing allows me to service clients in a unique and; creative manner.
I can see what not only what is there …. but what can be done!
Northern Westchester Mom: Anyone special you’d like to thank for helping you through parenthood?
Kisha Riviezzo : I’m blessed to have a supportive MOM, GREAT GIRLFRIENDS, & be
surrounded by an incredible community of Moms! It truly takes a village to navigate through all
the twist and turns of motherhood. We laugh, cheer, and; support each other always!
Northern Westchester Mom: Favorite things to do with your kids?
Kisha Riviezzo: I’m the true definition of a Proud Soccer and; Dance Mom. I enjoy seeing my
children’s passion and successes!
We also love watching movies together, hanging out at the beach or swimming in our pool,
family vacation exploring, baking, and visiting their Uncle &; Aunt in the city!
Northern Westchester Mom: How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
Kisha Riviezzo: The community support I have received has been instrumental to my
success.
At a young age, my mother instilled the importance of getting involved in your community!
She always me involved in Non For Profits like Organ Donation Awareness & volunteering with
Adult Care Programs she was involved in.
I BELIEVE IN ALWAYS GIVING BACK MORE THAN YOU TAKE!
Whether it’s attending or sponsoring a school fundraiser, municipal events, supporting local non
for profits, raising awareness to a local cause, or connecting local business owners to other like-
minded professionals to help them thrive … it is my responsibility and honor!
It’s also a “full circle moment” when I watch my children get inspired by my service and want
to be involved as well! As moms we don’t realize the legacies we are creating for our future.
Northern Westchester Mom: Tell us about the mom entrepreneur network and what inspired you to start it?
Kisha Riviezzo: I truly believe there is nothing women can’t do especially if we work
together. My partners and I have collaborated on some amazing ventures without missing a
beat with our families. Their support and help are instrumental in my success not just in my
business but as a mom!
As Moms, we instinctively nurture & support our spouses, children, families, friends, etc.
Our mission is to create a space where “Mompreneurs” can collaborate with other like-minded
MOMS!
The focus will be on networking, collaboration,and community support while just having fun!
Tell us your faves:
Favorite date night spot : We have a few spots we frequent, Trattoria Sei, in Mahopac, is top
on the list! My Cousins in Mahopac, 121 Restaurant in North Salem, and La Fontane in
Katonah.
Favorite restaurant to go as a family : My Children love LAS MANANITAS in Brewster &
Kobu in Mahopac. Recently my daughter has fallen in love with Sushi and is searching for the
best restaurant in the area….Anyone have any suggestions?
Favorite place to go out with friends : Trattoria Sei in Mahopac, Lexington Square
Restaurant in Mt. Kisco, and Il Forno in Somers.
Favorite place to go to have fun as a family :
As a family with older kids & varied interests … we have to divide and conquer:
GrandPrix in Mt. Kisco, Carmel Sports Club in Carmel, Epic Dance in Mahopac, Jumpz &
Thrills in Danbury CT.
