Let’s learn her about her fun things to do with her family and about her life in Northern Westchester!
Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in town?
I grew up in White Plains, went to school in Rye, had my first place in Hartsdale, and then
moved away when I got engaged to my husband, Patrick, while he was in the Army. After
Patrick retired two years ago, we moved back to the Carmel/Brewster area and are very happy
to be home!
Child(ren) and Age(s)?
One son named Preston who will be 4 in May. (And two rescue pups Mousse who is 5 and
Winston who is 2!)
One thing people would be surprised to know about you…
I love to play PokemonGo! It was a great way to get to know new areas (and people) while we
were moving around with the Army, and it’s a fun way to explore our communities.
Anyone special you’d like to thank for helping you through parenthood?
My tribe. I lost my mom in 2014, but she taught me how to be a mom without me even
knowing. But it truly takes a village, and mine is the best! Parents,Siblings, Aunts, Uncles,
Cousins and Friends, I couldn’t do it without them!
Favorite things to do with your son?
Preston is at such a fun age, as long as he’s not having a meltdown lol, everything is so much
fun. We love exploring Westchester and the Hudson Valley and discovering new places, local
businesses, and nature trails!
How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
Growing up in Westchester absolutely shaped a lot of who I am. Everywhere else I’ve lived, they
tell me they can’t listen as fast as I speak, luckily, New Yorkers have fast ears so my ability to
communicate quickly and effectively is an asset in the fast-moving real estate market, as it
allows me to stay on top of any developments and negotiate the best deals for my clients.
Moreover, my lifelong connection to this community has provided me with invaluable insights
into the neighborhoods, schools, and local amenities that make Westchester a fantastic place
to live. This intimate knowledge enables me to match my clients with their perfect homes and
provide them with personalized, informed advice.
How did you get into real estate and what is your favorite part?
My mom, when I was growing up, always loved looking at houses with her Realtor friend. I
would go sometimes and found it fascinating. Fast forward a few years and my Mother in Law,
Lauren Zaccaria, is one of the number one Real Estate Agents in Westchester, and one day
when we decided to move back home, after my husband and my previous careers (Patrick, the
Army and me a VP at an internet marketing company) ended and a new chapter in our lives was
beginning, I decided to join The Lauren Zaccaria Real Estate Team at Houlihan Lawrence. I’ve
always loved looking at homes and learning more about our communities, but my favorite part
is absolutely all of the amazing people I get to meet and help “Create their Happily Ever Afters.”
