Northern Westchester Mom: Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in town?
I’m a native New Yorker, and have been living in Bedford for the last 14 years.

That I love zip lining!
Northern Westchester Mom: Anyone special you’d like to thank for helping you through parenthood?
My mom. I only had her for the first 7 years of parenthood, but she was invaluable to me during that time. Even now, I think back to how she parented me and try to use that to guide me.
Northern Westchester Mom: Favorite things to do with your kids?
We love to travel to places that we can hike, ride ATV’s, zipline, ski, etc. We have two teenage boys and need to keep them busy!
Northern Westchester Mom: How did you get started in art and what is your inspiration?
I have always considered myself a creative person. My mother was an artist and I learned so much about color, design and style from her growing up. My art is always inspired by color. Sometimes my paintings are bright and bold, and others are more muted and soft. In either case, I really enjoy playing around with the color palette and how the colors play off of one another.
Northern Westchester Mom: How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?
I wouldn’t be where I am as an artist without it! Most of the paintings I have sold have been through social media and the connections I’ve made with people through it.

Favorite local date night? Truck (Bedford)
Favorite place to feel inspired? Yellow Studio (Cross River). I am inspired every time I walk in the door there by all of the smart and creative women there.
Favorite place to go out with friends? Local (Mount Kisco)
Favorite place to have fun with the family? Moab (Utah)
