Meet Dr. Brian Wengrover of Wengrover Dental Arts in Katonah, they opened their doors in May to our community.   Learn about Dr Wengrover faves in the area, his dental practice and more.

Where are you from originally and how long have you lived in town?

I grew up in Goldens Bridge and attended John Jay High School. I’ve spent most of my life in Northern Westchester. After college at Indiana University, I moved to NYC to attend NYU College of Dentistry. Last year, after working in NYC for 10 years, I decided it was time to return home to start my practice and raise my family in my hometown.

Child(ren) and Age(s)?

I have two children, a 4 year old son named Logan and a 1 year old daughter, Kaia.

Tell us about your practice and where you are located.

I started Wengrover Dental Arts in Katonah. We opened our doors in May 2026 with the goal of creating a welcoming, modern dental office where patients feel comfortable and genuinely cared for. We see patients of all ages and focus on providing high quality, personalized dental care while helping patients make informed decisions about their oral health. We provide comprehensive, restorative, periodontal and orthodontic services.

One thing people would be surprised to know about you.

People are often surprised to learn that starting my own dental practice has been a lifelong dream. Building it from the ground up has been one of the most rewarding and challenging experiences of my life.

Anyone special you’d like to thank for helping you through parenthood?

Without a doubt, my wife. As a full time dermatologist, she still manages to be an incredible mother to our kids and my biggest supporter as I launch my practice. Parenting is truly a team effort, and I couldn’t do it without her love, support, and partnership. I’m also incredibly grateful for our families, who have been a tremendous source of encouragement and help.

Favorite things to do with your children?

I love spending time outdoors with my kids, whether we’re playing at the park, going for walks, or just exploring together. My son is such a car enthusiast. We love going to our local mechanic and looking at all the cars in the parking lot.  Watching them learn and grow has been the best part of being a dad.

How has this community been instrumental in getting you to where you are now?

Growing up in Northern Westchester taught me the value of community. The support I’ve received since opening my practice has been overwhelming, from friends and neighbors to patients who have trusted me with their dental care. Being able to give back to the same community that helped shape me is something I’m incredibly grateful for. I came back to Northern Westchester to give my children the childhood that I was blessed to have.

Tell us about your dad life and how do you manage it all.

Balancing life as a business owner and a dad definitely keeps me busy. Like most parents, there are plenty of long days, but I try to be fully present wherever I am. When I’m at the office, I focus on providing the best care possible for my patients. When I’m home, I make family time a priority. It’s not always perfect, but having a supportive wife and remembering why I’m working so hard makes it all worthwhile.
