While we are still in the heat of COVID-19, you can still enjoy the best of fall with apple picking at several farms and orchards in Westchester. Below, we’ve listed some apple picking farms and orchards in Westchester along with their new safety guidelines.
Apple Picking in Westchester
Outhouse Orchards: Reservations are required on weekends and holidays only and those who do not have a reservation will not be admitted on the farm. Mask wearing is also required and all farm employees will follow CDC guidelines while working at the farm. Book your reservation here. They also have pumpkins, a corn maze, and hay rides.

Harvest Moon and Orchard: They are open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for apple picking by reservation only from 9am – 5pm. They have no fall activities this year.

Stuart’s Farm: Apple picking at Stuart’s Farm runs from now through November at Stuart’s daily from 10:00am – 5:00pm. You don’t have to make a reservation but they have a list of new COVID-19 safety standards that guests have to follow, including mask wearing, maintaining social distance, no outside food and more.

Wilkens Fruit & Fir: You do not have to make a reservation to visit Wilkens Fruit & Fir, but they have updated COVID-19 guidelines for their farm, which includes social distancing, mask wearing, one-way traffic, limited items for purchase in their store. They will have a corn maze this year but there will be no tractor this year. Tickets may be purchased in the Farm Market, Bakery or at the Pick-Your-Own Pavilion.

Barton Orchards: They will be having their fall festival this year on September 19th and 20th where you have to purchase tickets in advance. The festival will include their corn maze, access to their park, live music, dog park, and food. All in attendance must bring masks and socially distance in accordance with New York State provisions pertaining to COVID-19
