Ivy Rehab for Kids: Ivy Rehab for Kids is a pediatric physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy outpatient clinic where children can come who have orthopedic, neurological and/or developmental impairments for a free screening or an evaluation.
Northern Westchester Moms: What can someone expect from an initial consultation?
Ivy Rehab for Kids: When a child is brought in for an initial screening or evaluation, they will spend one on one time with the evaluator who will speak with the caregiver regarding their history from birth to the present as well as what their concerns are for the child. Then the evaluator will ask the child or help the child to perform activities that will allow the evaluator to assess their current level of function and determine whether or not future intervention is necessary.

Ivy Rehab for Kids: We can work with all orthopedic, neurological and developmental issues including but not limited to Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, rare genetic disorders, medically fragile children, articulation issues, feeding concerns, sensory processing issues, etc…
